Sharon Rice

As the FCS SNAP-Ed Extension Agent in Southwest Virginia, Sharon serves eight counties in the region. Her office is located at the Higher Education Center in Abingdon, Virginia.

Sharon has worked at Mountain States Health Alliance and the Washington County Health Department in Johnson City, Tennessee, in health and wellness.

A Southwest Virginia native who lived in Bristol, Virginia, for the past 15 years, Sharon and her husband, Jeff, have a daughter, Sarah, and the family has a bassett hound named Lucas, a beagle named Milton Henry, and three cats.
